The Problem

From my perspective, there is a massive change coming to both global and domestic marketplaces. This shift is driven by factors such as the expansion of modern agriculture in South America, China, and Russia; and autonomous farming. The growth of AI-driven markets which are causing extreme volatility. Tack on geopolitical tensions, not to mention unofficial currency wars. Plus, the high costs of production in Canada. I think these changes will fundamentally alter Canadian agriculture, and it seems no one is fully prepared for the impact.
 

My Fix It Idea.

I've developed a system for a strategic farmer who views grain marketing as a key business tool rather than the role of dice. At its core, the system is a rules-based approach centered on achieving a target ROI for a specific crop. By integrating this with market fundamentals and technical analysis, it generates a strategic marketing plan designed to automatically price grain in the top third of the market. Initial results suggest it could boost profits by an additional $30 per acre while significantly reducing the stress of grain marketing.

My goal is to have 25 farmers to trial my system from now until August 1.
